Transfer rumors: Hakimi linked to Chelsea move, Ronaldo to exit Juventus

  • Achraf Hakimi is attracting interest from Chelsea, while Cristiano Ronaldo will reportedly be considering an exit from Juventus at the end of this season.

Chelsea is looking to capitalize on its attacking squad this summer especially after the elapse of their transfer ban. So far, a move for Hakim Ziyech has been sealed, Timo Werner on the way and interest in Kai Havertz,

Achraf Hakimi is the latest to be linked with Chelsea, as the Moroccan full-back has excelled on loan at Borussia Dortmund over the last two seasons. Dortmund wants to sign him permanently. As it is this will be an expensive move for Chelsea and maybe, a loan move makes the most sense until Real Madrid is ready to sell him.

Most managers would be falling over themselves to sign Hakimi as it appears, Tottenham and Man City have also reportedly joined Chelsea in making inquiries about the talented full-back. It all makes sense because all three of those Premier League clubs need help in that position.

The 21-year-old attacker has 10 assists this season. He is renowned as of world football’s deadliest wing-backs who is often deployed as a wing-back in Dortmund’s 3-4-3 formation. In has undoubtedly gone from precocious prospect to outright star.

Reports from Italy claim that Cristiano Ronaldo will cut short his stay at Juventus and leave the Serie A giants this summer. This will be a premature exit that has two more years left on the four-year contract he signed in the summer of 2018 as he switched Real Madrid for Juve.

The big question is; What will be Ronaldo’s next move in building his long-term career? At his price tag, only a very small handful of clubs worldwide would even dream of making a bid.

Paris Saint-Germain, one of the big spenders, would top the list, especially with Edinson Cavani set to leave on a free transfer this summer. He has also spoken positively about MLS and this could one of his preferred options.

Ronaldo has delivered goals galore, as expected, at Juve. He’s scored 53 goals in 75 games, won the Italian title last season, and Juventus top of the league this season. Juve targets UEFA Champions League victory and they believe he will lead them there.
