Spread bets are a special kind of forecast. What is a spread? This is the gap between the lower and upper thresholds of the forecast. First, the bookmaker, based on the analysis of the event, reveals the outcome, which will become the starting point of the spread. This can be goals, period, number of violations in the game, number of breakpoints, etc. The bookmaker sets a range of values, and the player tries to guess which of the conditions is correct (less than the first value or more than the second).
